PRODUCT INFORMATION
Bushmills 12 year old Distillery Reserve is matured mainly in former Spanish Oloroso sherry casks which lend a deep amber colour and wonderful dried fruit aromas to this whiskey. After spending at least 11 years in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, this expression is finished in Marsala wine casks for 6 to 9 months, resulting in a soft, smooth, and nuanced dram.
Bushmills 12 Year Old is made from 100-percent unpeated malted barley, with spring water from the River Bush, and is triple distilled in small batches in traditional copper pot stills.
Strongly flavoured, rich complex malt with sherry, dark chocolate and spicy notes. Like most Bushmills single malts, it is gentle and approachable with added weight.
