Monte Alban is exclusively double distilled in traditional alembics where the steam is never in contact with the fermented agave juice. After distillation, Monte Alban Reposado is rested in American oak barrels that were previously used for bourbon. It is from those barrels that our reposado acquires its unique and distinctive flavor.
