Grapes used: Sangiovese 100%. Refining maturing: 6 months in steel tanks. Then 6 months in bottle. Organoleptic characteristic: Colour: Intense ruby red. Bouquet: the wine presents typical perfumes of Prugnolo Gentile, liquorice, red fruits and violet. The maturing produces also prominent balsamic inklings, typical of quality red wine.
Flavour: Soft and velvety. The evolution reveals a moderate wood inkling and freshness, typical of young wine. We look for fineness and elegance, rather than excessive extraction and structure. Serve at: About 64 °F. Goes well with: Young cheese and salami.
